Bio
Over the course of his decades-long entrepreneurial career, Robert Fireman has built and led companies across a variety of industries including direct and loyalty-based marketing, information security, law, agriculture and cannabis. As President and CEO of MariMed Inc., he draws on his diverse skill set to refocus the company on its core cannabis operations, secure investment and oversee public market perception. Robert has been a practicing attorney for over 30 years and employs his legal acumen in navigating MariMed through the complex cannabis regulatory environments that vary with each municipality and state. As founder and former CEO of Consumer Card Marketing, Inc. in the late 1990s, Robert pioneered the implementation of CRM technologies and card-based loyalty marketing programs in thousands of retail, grocery and drug stores throughout the U.S. After the sale of CCMI to News Corporation in 2000, Robert joined Sky Vegetables as CEO to lead the development of their state-of-the-art commercial hydroponic rooftop farms. Robert is a board member of Worlds.com, an industry leader in 3D interactive social networking.
