: Maureen is general counsel and compliance officer for Functional Remedies, LLC. and has a boutique law firm "Maureen West & Associates, LLC" where she practices cannabis regulatory and business law. Maureen served as a Colorado assistant attorney general for 16 years and then became the first Industrial Hemp Program Manager for the Colorado Department of Agriculture before she entered the private sector and began working at Functional Remedies. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Denver.
