After 20 years as a start-up entrepreneur in the booming Internet economy, I jumped headfirst into cannabis about 3 years ago. I’ve watched the cannabis economy flourish in Colorado for years and when a few investors told me about the idea for Leafwire, to essentially start the Linkedin of cannabis, I saw a huge opportunity. I’ve always been a huge believer in networking (25,000+ contacts on Linkedin), I’ve created online loyalty programs with millions of members with past companies, I’ve led multi-million dollar marketing departmenta and have founded multiple start-ups. So Leafwire was exactly the concept I was looking for and knew I had to build it. And here we are:
