Scott Solomon
Bio
Scott Solomon, MBA, MSE, is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Compliance for Operational Security Solutions (OSS) and OSS East. In this role, Mr. Solomon leads corporate operations, staff and contractors, and the establishment of new OSS franchises throughout the country. Mr. Solomon coordinates the efforts of the C-Suite staff to achieve the strategic direction established by the OSS Board of Directors. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer with a specific focus on compliance operations that included a comprehensive internal AML/BSA program, field audit support for financial institutions, and other programs to maximize compliance operations across their portfolio of clients while aligning staff and capital resources to best support market expansion. Prior to OSS, Mr. Solomon had almost 25 years of experience managing grants and contracts for a multitude of federal agencies (DOJ, DHS, USDOS, DOE) and the US Congress. Most of his experience has been in the emergency response, law enforcement, intelligence, and compliance auditing fields. He held Directorships for a research institute established by Congress, the compliance and audit divisions of a major research university, and the emergency response training arms of numerous federal agencies. Mr. Solomon also served as a senior advisor for several federal training centers, technology transfer and commercialization programs, and health and safety projects. In addition to his baccalaureate degree in Public Administration and Legal Studies, Mr. Solomon has an MBA in finance, an MS in engineering, and a post-graduate certificate in executive leadership from West Virginia University and The George Washington University.
