n the last number of years as our daughter Ava Barry fought to survive her diagnosis of Dravet Syndrome we found the gift that is medical cannabis. As a committed mum I fought for her right to access this treatment and have discovered strength to stand up and be heard to argue respectfully to speak publicly and to do what is necessary whatever is required for justice for our child, Every part of me says denying access to others in Ireland is wrong so we continue to highlight to extraordinary benefits of the medicine that brought our daughter to the full of her health. I am proud to have medical cannabis in our lives it has saved our daughters life. We will be forever grateful.
